Thank you very much! Although the vet that saw him today is
unfamiliar with ferrets, she said this is what she would see on a cat
with a root abscess. She put him on an oral antibiotic and told us
that if it is a bad tooth, we should see some improvement by Monday
when our regular ferret vet is available. I was surprised since his
teeth look pretty nice and he had a professional cleaning so recently.
