Ah, but not all Lupron is equal!
Some people have used 24 hour Lupron which was sold as being Lupron Depot, but that
can backfire and has the potential to make things worse is it is not given daily.

Asking if you are buying the "monthly" version is not good enough in case a place is
experimenting with monthly use because the conversation may not be clear enough, so it
is essential to specifically have Lupron DEPOT said and sent.
Also, Lupron comes in a variety of strengths and timing. The more medicine is involved,
the more expensive it is. The longer the depot is designed to last in the ferret the more
expensive it is.

Our vet buys in quantity and then prepares it in the hospital specifically for his own
hospital's use. This takes the cost down substantially. (BTW, our vet does not ship these
to other vets; for some reason a person asked for that to be done for his/her vet instead
of asking where the vet can buy Lupron.)
