Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Lymph node biopsy, enlarged spleen, antibiotics...help!
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Can you tell me about this helicobacter infection? My ferret Key Largo has been very lethargic
for th past 3 weeks and he is not getting better. He eats, drinks and goes to the bathroom
ok, well we have to hand feed him, but thats the case with almost all sick ferrets. The only
thing thats seems to be wrong is that he is extremley lethargic (he won't walk around except
after water therapy) and he has a enlarged spleen, as far as I know. All his lab works came
back good, everything at the right levels, glucose is good, his lymphnodes are not swollen.
He isn't responding to any antibiotics though, he has been on Amoxy-Drops, Trimeth- Sulfa,
and today we are picking up a new one. Is any of this similar to what your ferret is going
through? My ferret is also IBS.
