Subject: [ferrethealth] Update: Can't figure out whats wrong with my ferret

Well I just wanted to give everyone an update since Franklin has been
to the second vet for a 2nd opinion now. They are running a lot of
tests and waiting for the results still on him, but so far this is
what they have found:
- during an ultrasound they got abnormal 'waves' for his liver and the
vet described it as 'coarseness'
- they had felt something hard when palpating his abdomen and that
turned out to be his lymph nodes so they are taking a sample for biopsy
- his spleen was enlarged, not sure if its always been
- his glucose was in the 60s this morning (which I really don't
understand because before we started him on Prednisone his glucose was
fine, it was more for suspected IBD)
Still waiting on blood work and the results of the aspirations.
Any suggestions from anyone meanwhile?
