Subject: [ferrethealth] Can ferrets get stomache bugs?

Hey!
I know ferrets can get the flu but how about a stomache bug? I had a
24hour stomache bug this week and I noticed that one of our ferrets
(the one I was around most this week) is grinding his teeth (a sign of
nausea or pain)and is not interested in his food or any treats. So I
got to wondering if ferrets can get stomache bugs like we do.
I've given him some pepto and chicken gravy and will take him to the
vet if he's no feeling better in a day.
