Yes, my vet was able to get enough cells from the sample she took.
It may not be as accurate as a biopsy but if you're worried about
stressing her out it could at least a starting point. Trixie's nodes
were very pronouned, like small round marbles so we pretty much
suspected lymphoma anyway.

Maybe the question to ask yourself before you consider the biopsy is
what the vet is going to do if it is lymphoma. If you don't want to
do chemo then does a definite diagnosis matter one way or another?
There is no cure for lymphoma (Chemo does not always put the disease
into remission and it can be quite expensive and pred can help for a
little while.) If you would go the pred route if the test came back
positive, can your vet just treat her assuming it is lymphoma?
