I actually don't know what lupron it is, through vet purchasing there
is only 1 lupron available, it runs about $450 for a bottle and it's
just called "Luprolide acetate depot", or however you spell it. The
protocol the vets around here use is to give the ferret a shot once a
month for 3 months, then once every three months after that. So maybe
it's a one month depot or maybe not, I'm not sure. I looked into
buying a bottle from the clinic where I work, so I could just inject at
home, but the bottle expires after a year and we wouldn't even get half
way through it.
