Subject: [ferrethealth] pet health and products

Several years ago some of the members of the International Ferret
Congress, especially Linda Iroff, began working to get major pet
supply chains to stop selling products which can be hazardous to
ferrets as ferret products. PetSmart began doing so already and
today the IFC has been informed that Petco also will no longer
purchase such products from their manufacturers once they are sold out.
Besides Petco and PetSmart, the Ferret Depot removed dangerous products and The Ferret
Store labels products which they recommend over others.
