Thanks a lot, Chris. And did you try to find any cause for doing this? By the way, how old is your hob? Did he carry on mating right after castration?
I know cats who who are still acting as if they were intact, also mating female cats, but never heard similar about ferrets... I also know one cat who is given female hormones to help him stop.

I forgot to mention that this male I'm asking about had a year of break after neutering when he didn't care much about jills in heat. He started this behavior almost 1.5 years later... His mother died due to pencreas cancer (not insulinoma) while at a late stage she had symptoms of pseudo pregnancy. I don't know if there could be any inherited cause behind?

__,_._,_Hi Nellie, my old castrated hob use to to mate with any of my jills in
heat and quite often brought them out of heat. I had him castrated at 18
months because he would never leave the jills alone even if they were
not in heat, at lest after castration he only mounted the hot jills. Chris.__
