Subject: [ferrethealth] Adrenal dry skin

Out here in the west the air is drier than any heated air (except during
the summer rains). I quit bathing the ferrets when we moved here and
have just been washing the bedding. I have been using the small size
fake sheepskin round beds from Petco and PetSmart, have not had any
problem with them eating the fabric. I always get the white ones and I
can see when they are ready for the wash. They go right in with the
hammocks and cubes, all the fleece stuff, bleach 'em all. The HE front
load washer is the greatest!
