Subject: [ferrethealth] arrhythmia questions

I just brought my sixteen month old ferret home from what should have been a routine check-up before scheduling his neutering. Instead the doctor found a distinct arrhythmia. I was so upset I couldn't discuss it with him but I need some answers. He wants to see Moochie again in two months for a EKG. Could someone please tell me what the prognosis, life span, treatments, etc is for a ferret with a heart arrhythmia? Thanks for any help.
