That same day we saw that vet Mojave had a urinalysis and
Tennessee Panel done. The results from the urinalysis came back
normal: no crystals, pH was normal, etc. The results of the Tennesse
panel just came back to reveal that two of three parameters were
elevated supporting clinical symptoms of Adrenal Disease. The one
that wasn't elevated was Estradiol.

**Normal urinalysis, male ferret having straining to urinate, elevations on
the TP - this is adrenal disease.

It is notoriously difficult to even find adrenal glands on ultrasound - to
say that they are normal given the other things going on... well, let's just
say that I would ask for a review of the ultrasound by a boarded radiologist
experienced with ferret anatomy. Or find an experienced ferret veterinarian to
treat the adrenal disease in whichever manner seems most appropriate, whether
that is surgically or medically.**
