Hi Robert,
Not sure if this helps, but I'll give you my story. I've got a 4 year
old Male Albino foster who was originally diagnosed with IBD before he
was surrendered to us. The problem went away and when he arrived
here, there were no signs of any problems. After about 6 months
however, he started having serious violent projectile vomiting issues.
Tests and exploratory surgery could only find some scar tissue near
the exit of his stomach - nothing conclusive. To date, the only
"cure" we've been able to find for him is to feed him a "soup" only
diet (ground up kibble mixed with baby food and water). This has
reduced his vomiting to small episodes a couple of times a month. As
long as he gets his soup on time (ie he's not tempted to eat hard
kibble), he remains a happy, healthy, active ferret.
