Hi Terri,
I'll second what Dr Karen said. Yes, adrenal
is possible in any ferret with itchy skin. From
your description it is hard to say for sure if it is
adrenal gland disease or something else causing
the skin problem. Thus a physical exam is needed.
Lupron is very safe to use with very few if any side
effects in ferrets, so do not be afraid to give it a try.
