Hi Lynn
Poor little chap! I'm glad you found some sort of relief for him. They
look so frightened when they're vomiting.
Willow seems able to take her kibble OK most of the time, though she
had developed a rather bad habit in recent months of eating a large
amount in the morning, and then again in the evening, with little
inbetween. I think this was a bit harsh on her stomach and so have
been encouraging her to eat smaller meals more regularly, with
moistened kibbles available to make them easiest to digest.
She's a funny little creature - when I'm in the house she sleeps in a
drawer in the 'girls' room'. She'll come out to use the litter or
suchlike and if offered a kibble directly won't take it. However, when
she gets back in the drawer if I open it and offer the same kibble
again she'll often as not take it and another 10 or so, sitting
happily in her blankets. I don't force her to take it, just offer, and
she happily eats up. But if I didn't open the drawer and offer, she'd
likely as not curl up and sleep on.
Perhaps this is helping her a bit by reducing the extremes of stress
on her tummy, the way your soup helps your little fellow.
Regards
Robert
