Innovative Veterinary Diets makes a split pea and duck formula that
may work well for him. Or you can even try Science Diet
Prescription Diet z/d or z/d ultra for cats. Good luck.

chicken, now that the ProPlan turkey kibble is no longer being
manufactured? I am suspicious that my IBD ferret Ronan might be
sensitive to chicken and would like to try him on something else,
but I'm not finding anything online for ferrets or even cats that
does not contain chicken (except for one herring based kibble, but
I'd really rather avoid that if at all possible).

on a daily dose of pepcid a/c and multiple treatments for ulcers, he
still grinds his teeth on occasion. More recently, he has begun
grinding slightly while getting his teeth brushed, with a chicken-
flavored toothpaste. So I'm wondering if getting him off chicken
might help. Follow up question in my next email...
