Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: asymptomatic malaise in this ferret: suggestions?

I recently lost an oldster to what I feel was acute renal failure due to some bladder or
kidney stone.
She seemed to be in no pain, or through palpations of her abdomen and back. She just
stopped eating and dinking. In a matter of 4 hrs, as I prepared to take her to emergency,
she passed. I had no necropsy done, but considering the size of the animal and where a
blockage may occur in the organ(s), I would think that not everything that is actual, is
visable at the time.
Meanwhile, my hands are clasped for all involved!
