Subject: [ferrethealth] Ferret w/digestion issues

We have taken in a small MF female with interesting digestion issues.
She eats just fine and drinks plenty of water. However, her digestive
system will gurgle and rumble very loudly after she has eaten. You can
actually feel the air moving around if you are holding her. Her bowel
movements are borderline runny, pale in color and smell REALLY bad.
However, she is still perky and interested in being out of the cage and
moving around. She was seen by our vet on Friday but there wasn't
anything conclusive determined. Her blood sugar was normal and there
doesn't seem to be a blockage. She is obviously dealing with adrenal
problems that will be addressed next week.
Her original owner indicated that she has been eating well all along but
did have projectile vomiting the morning she was turned into us. The
owner also indicated that she has been losing weight. I have been
feeding her AD mixed with baby food and Endosorb added for the loose
bowel movements.
Any ideas/suggestions are welcome!
