Subject: [ferrethealth] Mice?

It appears mice have discovered we leave food out for our kids 24/7 and have helped themselves to it...
Any thoughts on removal of the mice....other than traps!
Exterminators cannot guarantee the product used on the mice won't hurt the ferrets.
plus the stuff they use drys the mice from the inside out,what if one of our kids got a hold of it and ate that mouse?
If someone bombed the house ,what about the residue?
Any thoughts?
