Remember this very IMPORTANT point: no cases are ever textbook.
Every one of them will have its own little twist, so looking for enough
of the symptoms of something rather than every symptom of that same
disease is when you have to count it among the possibilities that need
to be eliminated.

I don't think that you should automatically discount the possibility of
anything at this point.

Some, like MegaE are so very, very serious that if there is a chance you
do the testing to find out.

Meanwhile, here is a guide for safe feeding with Megaesophagus. If this
reduces or stops the symptoms you have to especially have the vet
check for it, and keep feeding in that vertical position.

IMPORTANT question: you say the feces are pale. Are they pale GRAY? If
that is the case then get promptly to the vet for the liver and gallbladder to
be checked.
