The answer is "yes". Any type of steroid will aggrivate an ulcer. A
steroid will prevent a mucus in the stomach from being produced. This
mucus coats the stomach. I found this answer from Dr. Wagner from
Harleysville Vet Hospital in Harleysville, PA.
