Thanks for that - very interesting. I just spoke to my vet who was of
course interested to hear that. He did however say that the plasma
extracted from the little lady was noticably yellow - which he also
took as a sign of a liver problem. Does anyone have any experience
with such signs?

We should have the full CBC by Monday, and my vet wants to get the
biopsy done tomorrow to have that as soon as possible too. He did an X
Ray of the little lady and her right liver shows some 'mottling' which
he's a little concerned by.

I would, of course, be delighted to find her liver was OK. Then we
just have to work out what's causing her stomach problems, and how to
solve them when she refuses point blank to take any medicines orally...
