To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I was recently diagnosed with an Adrenal cyst/tumor on my left adrenal gland
and was wondering if anyone had information about Adrenal Disease in Humans vs
Adrenal Disease in Ferrets.

[Moderator's Note: there are very large differences which can be found in the archives since this topic has come up often on how adrenal disease in ferrets differs from that in humans, dogs, and a number of other mammals.

http://ferrethealth.org/archive/

but a great place to start is here

http://www.afip.org/ferrets/aae.html

and there are dozens and dozens of studies from around the world so also check in other reputable places like

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi

I think the topic should also be in the FML Archives:

http://listserv.ferretmailinglist.org/archives/ferret-search.html

Certainly, there is info in adrenal write-ups such as
