Subject: [ferrethealth] Melatonin implants and Lymphoma
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

We have a 6yr old female who is undergoing chemo for lymphoma. She's
also showing signs of adrenal disease. The chemo is not shrinking the
nodes as fast as our vet would like but they aren't getting any bigger
either. They shrunk and now are just staying the same size.
In the meantime, we gave her the melatonin implant to treat the
adrenal (she already had one removed serveral years ago) and I'm
hoping that by treating the adrenal she will react better to the chemo
since her body would have one less problem to deal with. Anyway, I
could have sworn I read this somewhere too. Has anyone heard of that?
Does that make sense to anyone?

We know that the chemo is not always effective and lymphoma is
incurable but we're hoping to shrink it enough to give her a few more
months. She's gaining weight and doing well otherwise.

Thanks!
Lisa
