Eleanor, my favorite story about this is how one of the vets we all know came home to find
her ferret in the same state. She tried everything she could think of to awaken the critter -
all to no avail. As she was standing there with the ferret in one hand and a syringe of
epinepherine in the other, ready to plunge it into the little guy's heart, he opened an eye,
stretched, yawned and muttered, "Hi, Mom, whassup?"
If it could fool a vet, I would think it is most likely a bout of DFS that has fooled your
friend.
