Mame,
Don't believe inhaling any fiber could be healthy, for humans or animal. Might consider using a small scrub brush and brushing the inside and out, followed by vacuuming the entire condo. May like to do this a few times to pick up any loose fiber. A good practice is to prewash any new bedding, or toys that that the ferrets use. Some things can't be washed but wiping or brushing would be of a help.

I bought my 4 ferrets a nice little 3 level ferret condo. The really
dig playing in it but I noticed every time they are in there they start
to cough. I pulled one of my boys from there and noticed he had small
carpet fibers all over him. Im thinking they are breathing this stuff
in. Is this extremely dangerous? Id hate to take away their new toy.
Any thoughts?
