The pepto itself can mess up the poop, typically it turns it dark, my 4
guys have been through this as well and I found the more antibiotics
they had the worse the poops got. By all means follow what your doctor
is prescribing but what I found worked for me is adding a tablespoon of
live culture yogurt, a tablespoon of canned pumpkin to a big serving of
soupies with Nupro supplement in it, it helped my guys a lot. I will
also add a bit of mashed banana or stage 2 banana baby food to a batch
of soup if they seem to have a sensative digestion happening, I know
fruit is a no no but the banana seems to calm the tummy down, here is a
