Subject: [ferrethealth] Cough, bordetella?

I bought a pet store ferret last July. It turned out she had a cough
and it was treated with Amoxidrops and it seemed to go away. Then it
came back and a few others started to cough also. We've had coughs
before but this one keeps coming back. We treated with more
Amoxidrops, things seemed fine until treatment stopped. The frequency
of the coughs vary, but the pet store one still coughs. Vet thinks it
may be bordetella and will research treatment. Does anyone have any
ideas? She may order Baytril? The cough is frustrating.
