Subject: [ferrethealth] About Reina's Appointment!!

Reina went on her visit and the Doctor examened her and said she
thinks possibly two reasons, she either has heart disease or she fell
and hurt her spine. So she did an exray and she said it looks good her
heart looks good, doesnt look enlarged, she is eating cause she does
have food in her belly, so then she said but I see something in her
spine with her disk, so I said what your trying to say is that she
possibly has a slip disk, she said yea. and thats whats causing her
not to control her urine, so I told her but of course if she not
standing on her hind legs. this Doctor after 173.00 seem to me that
she wasnt very sure of herself when it came to ferrets. then she told
me to go to animal medical center up in the city (Manhattan) to go get
an MRI done from a specialist. but other then that her pulse on her
hind legs were good, she feels the pinches on her legs but wasnt
looking or caring to see what the Doctor was doing. So Thank God its
nothing bad like her heart, so now I gotta go see a specialist.Does
anybody no about a ferret having a slip disk? or ever had surgery done
for this? what am I looking at? Is this dangerous?
