Well the good news on Blossom is that the vet did have Pimobendan in stock -
and made up a suspension for me which I picked up this morning - she is on
0.16cc 2x a day...we will be trying this over the next couple of weeks - her
next vet appt is 1/31 and we will see if there is any improvement in heart
function then.
We have deferred at least for now on the oxyglobin/procrit because the pet
tinic is showing us an increase in red cell count..its still low but 22 is much
better than it was less than a month ago at 12 - but its on our list of
things we may have to do.
As far as the benazapril, doc didn't have any in stock but he is ordering it
- he agrees that this is probably a better way to help her heart.
Thankfully, Blossom is taking all of this nicely. She even willingly eats
carnivore care as a supplement from a syringe. Thank you everyone for your
suggestions and comments - they were very much appreciated!
