I have always been under the impression that you shouldn't
fast an insulinomic ferret, they have enough trouble
maintaining glucose levels anyway.
If you always test at the same time,say 2 hrs after feeding
then you will be able to establish a pattern to determine
whether meds can be reduced or need to be increassed.
