Subject: [ferrethealth] Coughing kit
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
My Linus, who's only 4 months old, coughs a lot. He was on Clavamox
about a month a go because of a respiratory infection. His sneezing
cleared up but he still has a cough. I don't think he has a furball or
anything, and I really don't know what's causing this. I've read
cardiomyopathy can cause coughing because of backed up fluid in the
chest, but I know Linus is much too young to be having that.
Can ferrets have asthma or allergies, and if so, would it cause
coughing? What can I do to help him?
Thank you,
~Emily and the five "feez"
