Subject: [ferrethealth] Anal Excretions (Clear/Greasy) - Liver Problems?

Hi, can anyone help.
Our 8 month old Ferret, Gizmo, has had some liver function problems
since about 6 months. He has also had a constant "greasy" tail and
hind-legs. The other day we realised that this was due to a
clear/"greasy" excretion from his anus - which we witnessed whilst he
was sleeping.
He is also constantly hungry and eats more than the other 3 Ferrets put
together!
Has anyone come across this before? Is it connected to his liver
function problems? Is it something to do with his anal glands?
