Subject: [ferrethealth] giving metronidazole--Please Help

Oh my, my hand is killing me. I have to sick babies and the vet gave
them Metronidazole. I know this drug is not one that ferrets like and
is very hard to give. Both of my babies tore my hand up while I was
trying to get them to take it.
Neither of them will eat anything listed below.
Canned food
Baby food
Chicken soup
Anyone have any other ideas on how I can save my hand from another
beating when it's time to give them this nasty drug?
