Which side of the abdomen? Is it hard, soft, or blistery? Other details?
This ferret is overdue for a vet appointment.
With the fur loss there may very easily be adrenal neoplasia needing treatment, and if that
the source of the lump then one that pronounced is at risk of becoming malignant or even
of now being malignant.
It could be a greatly enlarged spleen, with or without a tumor. Steve and i have even seen
one with lymphoma fully cross the abdomen so that the tumor on the end of the spleen
sat a maybe an inch and a half below the liver.
It could be a cyst. (That is what I hope for.)
There are certainly multiple other options.
