My group is scientifically a small number, but my experience matches yours.
* YES - Our first ferret (female, MF, sable) died at about 5 years old from adrenal complications.
* YES - We had another male sable MF die at almost 7 years from insulinoma, but he, too fought adrenal problems.
* YES - Our oldest at just over 7 years (MF female albino) has adrenal disease
* YES, YES - the next two males (both 3.5 yrs old, MF, one DEW, one sable) both show adrenal signs
* NOT YET - the next male at just over 3 years (MF, DEW) doesn't
* NOT YET - 2.5 years, male, MF, cinnamon
* NOT YET - 1.5 years, male, MF, sable

Are you saying that less then 70%, by almost half, of your ferrets DO NOT get adrenal disease? My experience in over a decade is that over 90% (Almost all) of our ferrets DO get adrenal disease.
How many others on this group have experienced less than half of their ferrets getting adrenal. This I assume are ferrets that live to at least 6 year of age.
