Aija,
Could she possibly be in a prolonged estrus cycle (perhaps her first),
this can create diminished resistance to secondary bacterial infections
among other health issues i.e., estrogen-induced anemia, pneumonia,
bleeding disorders, etc.
I am assuming your vets are ferret knowledgeable?
