Hi Aija,
I just checked the FHL archives and it sounds like it could be Juvenile Lymphoma. I have taken an exerp from one of the letters there and copied it below. If this is what it is I don't think there is any cure. I lost one to JL when she was 16 months old.
I hope you find out it is something treatable.
