All of those symptoms sure sound like ULCERS to me. The only symptoms that seem to be missing, at least from my experience, are grinding of teeth (a sign of pain) and dark or tarry poop.

Ulcers are often a secondary problem arising from the stresses of other illnesses on the body. We dealt with some pretty severe ulcers as a ramification of bad insulinoma earlier this year. The good news is that they can be healed, but it takes time and diligence to regularly give the proper meds to do so.

We had success with the following regimine, but you will want to speak to your vet before starting any new meds:

AMOXICILLIN for four weeks (sometimes two weeks works, if the ulcers aren't too bad)
CARAFATE 20-30 minutes before meals, but separated from other meds by 2 hours
PEPCID AC given twice daily in a solution of water. We had success diluting one 10-mg tablet in 4.0 ml of pure water and giving 0.25 ml twice daily

I collected a lot of useful information on ulcers when researching them last year, and I will send it to you off the list to read and determine if it applies. I can also send it off list to anyone else who is interested.
