That's what I do - add it to the mix of food... so far both of our babies (ferrets) have been sick and haven't wanted to eat so we have given them A/D with gerber baby food step 2 chicken or turkey and a little pedialite - the kind withut flavoring. They don't seem to notice it's in there and it makes me feel better that they are getting SOME hydration especially when they refuse h2o.
