sometimes warming the a/d just a tad in the microwave helps them to be
interested in it. warming it releases the aroma better and the warm
food usually tastes better (and the warmth can be soothing on the
tummy, too).

my simba suddenly refused the a/d - surprising as she'd always liked
it previously. a friend recommended the evo canned food that is 95%
meat. i tried the rabbit and boy! did she devour it! when i first
opened the can it didn't need to be warmed - the rest that was
refrigerated did need warming before she'd eat it. i asked my vet
about it before giving it and he said it was an acceptable item in
lieu of the a/d.

what is the brand of dog food (the kibble) that your ferret likes??

most dog food is not acceptable for ferrets; if what you feed your dog
happens to be evo kibble, then that's not so bad. it has the taurine
in it that the ferrets need.
