To: <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

Arlena, I had this problem over the summer. I was looking at either a massive adrenal issue, diet or a whole bunch of fuzzbutts with very dirty tails LOL. After trying just about everything that I could think of, they put on their winter coats and tails??!! All my babies have their tails back, even my old girl who I was certain was adrenal. Sometimes too much fish oil supplement causes this. I did this to poor Nicodemus a couple of years ago. I was at the time treating them to a squirt, every time they hit the litter box. Nico was really good at it but lost his tail fluff :(
Just what I found anyway.

Three Brat Pack members (Gabby, Sheela and Marco) have developed Rat Tails. I am fairly certain their Rat Tail Problem is not caused by their diet.

I have been using Stridex Astringent Pads or Brulin SoftCare or Sulf OxyDex Shampoo, to clean their tails of excess oils. But, this does not seem to be working. Is there another product I can use?

Smiles,
Arlena
