BTW, in our quarter century plus with ferrets we have twice
had ferrets who distinctly preferred being away from other
ferrets -- markedly so -- and they thrived that way. They
had their own separate places and times. Some ferrets ARE
like that and do well. In fact, our oldest lived was one of them.
