I have 11 as of yesterday and that is my limit, my boyfriend and I did aquire a lot of ferrets at once but when we reached 10 we knew that that was good for us. they all still get lots of one on one time from us. They have enough cage space(they are in 3 3story ferret nation cages that are connected). Also we have started a ferret savings account. We place money into the account each month knowing that they will cost us money. ( So far in the last year vet bills have totalled around 1000, and that was only for a broken leg, ear mites, and lupron shots). I think that this is something that each person or family needs to figure out on their own. We started out with one and went from there. But all of this is just MO.
