That is usually the first sign and I would hate to see him get
progressively worse without a check up. I also have two ferrets with
rat tails right now and one has been diagnosed with Adrenal Disease,
while the other came back negative from the Tenessee Panel. I was
certain it was rat tail also because of his energy level and no other
possible indications that anything else could be wrong, yet I was
wrong. He is now getting the Lupron shots, although I have really
been more in favor of surgery. I do not want to scare you, but just
leave you something to think about. You may have already had him
tested, but its hard to test for adrenal disease, other then the
Tennessee panel, or so I have heard. I would love to hear if others
have gone thru the Tennesee panel and agree with this way of
determining Adrenal Disease.
