That's not enough info - just that you had 2 who did not want to be near others. Were these two always with other ferrets since birth or at least not away from them from more than a year or so? Were they bought as kits and kept as singles, with occassional or frequent visits with other ferrets, were they kept as singles and not allowed around other ferrets - did they have dogs, cats, bunnies as companions?

I have found that ferrets who have been kept away from other ferrets for 2 or more years are the ones who have problems with having other ferret's in close proximity. If you assume an 11:1 ratio of years that would be like a human not being around other humans approximately 22 years... even humans who have been secluded from other humans, assuming the wild children stories are true, do not like - fear or hate - other humans.
