Actually never thought of that. Yes I do have some of the cages that face the doors covered but theirs is not covered. Will give that a try.

See you have many ferrets and you probably already do what I am about to suggest.
Do you cover the cages at night? May help in getting their biological clocks reset to your time zone. Covering cages is a good idea for their hormone production anyway. Some studies suggest that they need so many hours of total or near total darkness. Should be able to search it out in the archives. Hope Pedro gets his schedule straightened out for you.
