Subject: [ferrethealth] Night sleep for health
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Someone just spoke of this in another email but thought it needs its own.
I have read a lot about the ferrets needing total dark for sleeping
time. It has to do with an imbalance of some type that can add to the
problems of adrenal disease. Is this is not true, please someone
correct this.
I cover my cages at night but also purchased "night curtains" at
WalMart. They are like the curtains in Vegas; designed so no light
filters through. I purchased 2 pair for the bedroom and they are very
effective, however, light comes out through the top but it surely
helps. The cost was only $25 a set and well worth it.
Can anyone suggest a good vitamin for my ferrets?

Thank you all....

Linda
