Subject: [ferrethealth] Diabetic Ferret

My name is Christina and my ferret Walter was diagnosed with diabetes
after his insolinoma and adrenal gland disease surgeries. Although my
vet is specializes in ferrets, Walter is only the second ferret hes
ever had to be a diabetic. I live in the upstate NY region. I have
been trying to do as much research to find others who have ferrets or
have had ferrets with diabetes to find out what else works to help my
Walter. He is currently on insulin two times a day and I give him
home made soup =E2=80" besides that my vet just recommends that keep him on
a strict diet and eating pattern. I'd GREATLY appreciate anyone who is
reading my message and would love your insight. Please help me with
any info you may have.=20
