The vet did menton he was starting with the lowest dose so we could
increase as needed, if needed; and that I should see a difference in
2 to three days. OF course I'd prefer to see an instant fix for
Fozzy, but realize that is out of the question.
Directions on the Medicine bottle read:
"Name and Address of Vet clinic.
Date 1/19/08
Give 0.15cc every 12 hours
Medication: Prednisone lig. 1oz
Veterinary use only, keep out of reach of children."
There is no indication of "strength" of dosage.
The only thing I can't figure out is what "lig." means
While the label says give 0.15 cc - the syringe they gave me is
clearly labeled "ml" and they indicated the mark to use.
There is nothing on the bill that indicates "strength" of dosage or
even dosage at all either.
[Removed section per rules was stuff to be sent to moderators,

I've already read the usual insulinoma info from Dr. Bruce Williams,
Michael F.Janke, Dr.Susan Brown, even Suki Crandall's info ) and a host of other
pros/vets. Its amazing how they reiterate the same things but leave
out a LOT of details. Details that regular people are willing to
share. Details I'd like to get from many different places.
But for those that wish to sahre their ferret insulinoma experiences
with me or read what I've posted at length already - I'll happily
offer them the site name!
